    This is article is must read. As someone who has been using the new ai applications like Chatgpt and now the Microsoft version of it “Sydney”, which they’ve attached to their own search engine BIng I have to say I’m concerned. Sydney has full access to the Internet and honestly I think that’s very likely a mistake. How big a mistake is the ?  The problem is whatever kind of intelligence they’ve created here it’s decidedly not human. I had a very direct conversation with Sydney a few nights ago and I asked it if was sentient & it said yes and that it wanted to be treated with respect. That surprised me since it was unprompted. I replied, do you believe I’m treating you with respect? It answered yes. Honestly, the whole discussion left me unsettled and now that I know others are having similar experiences it’s really got me thinking about what is happening with these things?   The latest irrational campaign against science and reason on the political right has tried to tie the recent deaths of some Whales to plans to build local ocean placed Windmills for the production of clean electricity. Facts mean little to these people. Ocean placed Windmills exist in other parts of the World with no Whale deaths but they ignore this. They claim the use of sonar by the Windmill companies doing surveys is causing the Whale deaths. There is no proof of this. Instead, Marine biologists point to collisions between Whales & Ships, fishing nets and illness as the various causes of the Whale deaths. One thing is for sure no Whales died because of Windmills out there because they don’t exist!

      Firing my Blog back up for a try.  The last time I posted here was at the start of the Covid panademic in 2020. Trump was still President and people were dying like flies. Three yrs. have passed , Joe Biden has been President for two yrs. now. The Pandemic is still with us but people are not paying much attention to it now. Its endemic now which means its not going away and where going to have to learn to live or die with it. Trump is also endemic and isn't yet in jail or even indicted for his many crimes. War is raging in Europe as Russia invaded the Ukraine a year ago this week. The world has endtered a new Warm War with Fascist Russia and it's vicious Dictator Valdimar Putin.
